The pumpkin seed oil with intense taste is mainly oil from pumpkin seeds. Ours is cold pressed from unroasted pumpkin seed oil.
Pumpkin seed oil is obtained from the dried, ground pumpkin seeds of Cucurbita pepo L by pressing. From the dried, ground seeds (oil content up to 35%) of the fruit, the dark green, oleic and linoleic acid-rich oil with a characteristic smell and typical nutty taste is obtained by pressing. The oil is not refined but is sold almost exclusively as a cold-pressed product. To obtain one litre of oil, you need three kilograms of seeds or about 35 pumpkins.
Pumpkin seed oil is a popular edible oil for refining salads. Especially in Austria, Hungary and Ukraine pumpkin seed oil is a locally very popular edible oil, while in Germany it is used almost exclusively in high-end restaurants due to its high price. In the pharmaceutical industry pumpkin seed oil is used, besides pumpkin seeds (relief of bladder weakness and prostate problems), as filling for soft gelatine capsules.

In cosmetics the vitamins contained in the fat byproducts are used. Pumpkin seed oil is used in facial masks, hair lotions, soaps and oil baths, massage oils and skin care products.
Food:
Pumpkin seed oil is popular edible oil due to its nutty taste and strong color. The oil shouldn't be heated due to its high content of unsaturated fatty acids and is not suitable for frying.
Pumpkin seed oil is great for refining salads, dips and vegetable dishes.
Pharmaceuticals :
Pumpkin seed oil is used for the prevention and treatment of chronic prostatitis, benign prostatic hyperplasia.
It is used in the treatment of diarrhea, veil, allergic rash, insect bites.
Used in capsules to treat bladder problems. Due to its anti-inflammatory (anti-inflammatory) properties, the oil can be used as an additional treatment for rheumatoid arthritis.
